Life is looking Golden at The Golden Sheaf this winter from 1 June – 31 August with 3 months jam-packed full of winter fun.

Expect winter parties, live music, DJs, new winter food and cocktails, warming mulled wine and special Sunday Roasts, heaters, blankets, doggie beds for our furry friends and many more surprises.

WINTER PARTIES

We’ve got no plans of hibernating this winter with massive Sheaf Wednesday winter parties (26 June and 10 July), DJs every Thursday from 6pm, Out of Office every Friday in June – August with sharing food & cocktail specials, LIVE bands every Saturday from 9pm and winding the weekend down with LIVE acoustic tunes 2-5pm.

FOOD & DRINK

Get involved in our new winter menu featuring warmers like Four cheese risotto, Roasted pork belly and Bread & butter pudding with Nutella for dessert. Wash it all down with mulled wine or one of our new winter cocktails. Let the kitchen team spoil you with daily winter food specials, tuck into a juicy steak on Tuesday Steak Nights and dig into a shared feast every Sunday with your friends and family including our famous hearty Sunday Roast with Yorkshire pudding and delicious roasted veggies.

RUG UP ALL WINTER

The days might be cold but it’s all warm hearts at The GS. Take a seat in the Beer Garden under our fairy-lit tree and keep cosy with heaters and blankets all night long. We’ve event got doggie beds for our furry friends, just ask our friendly staff. Enjoy the view of the venue as it transforms from day to night into the ultimate Winter Wonderland in the East.

JUNE LONG WEEKEND

We kicked off the Long Weekend with the launch of OOO Fridays with One Hit in June. Saturday saw live bands play to a full dancefloor, Sunday was for Sunday Roasts & Monday rounded up the w/e with live acoustic tunes and DJs. See pics from Saturday below

We're teaming up with One Hit Agency for OOO every Friday in June. If you like to work hard and play harder, this free party series is for you. The lineup features legendary artists Clueless, Colour Castle, Alex Preston (live), SODF and more.

We've teamed up with The Social Dog Company and Pug Patrol Rescue Australia to bring you a fun, flirty and fundraising afternoon for dog-loving singles, dogless or dateless!

Our annual Winter Party is one of the biggest student nights in Sydney! With fake snow falling from the sky, party goers getting down on the d-floor in ski gear and killer tunes from MASHD N KUTCHER, this is one party you don't want to miss.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Indulge in a delicious $60pp Roast Turkey Feast with all the trimmings, an abundance of side dishes, warming desserts and hot drinks as part of our Christmas In July offering for groups of 10-50. Bookings are essential and include free Christmas theming!
